This Privacy Policy describes how Nazım Çimen (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the mobile app Quit Smoking Tracker: Forest (“the App”).
Summary
- You can use core quit-tracking features without creating an account.
- If you sign in, we store your progress in the cloud (Supabase) to sync across devices.
- Premium purchases are processed by Apple/Google via RevenueCat; we do not receive your payment card details.
- Most progress data is stored on your device unless you enable cloud sync.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Display name (optional, during setup)
- Email and password (if you create an account)
- Quit date, smoking habits you enter (e.g. cigarettes per day, pack price), and app preferences
Information collected automatically
- App usage needed to run features (e.g. premium status, sync timestamps)
- Device notification permission status (we only send local notifications if you allow them)
- Purchase and entitlement data from RevenueCat (linked to an anonymous or signed-in app user ID)
We do not sell your personal information.
How we use information
- Track your smoke-free progress, forest, stats, and achievements
- Authenticate your account and sync data when you sign in
- Validate premium access and restore purchases
- Send local motivational notifications (with your permission)
- Respond to support requests
Where data is stored
- On your device: quit progress, settings, and cached data (local storage).
- Supabase (cloud): account and synced progress when you use sign-in.
- RevenueCat: subscription / in-app purchase entitlements.
- Apple App Store / Google Play: payment processing for purchases.

- Supabase — authentication and database
- RevenueCat — in-app purchases
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies.
Health information
Milestones shown in the App may reference publicly available information from the World Health Organization (WHO) for educational purposes. The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
Retention
Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the App or clear app data. Cloud data is kept while your account is active. See Delete Account & Data to request deletion.
Your choices
- Use the App without an account (no cloud sync)
- Disable notifications in device settings
- Sign out or request account deletion
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
